explorations of the Christian faith from an Anglican perspective led by Fr. Rich on Wednesdays May 22 – Jun 19 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Some of the topics that will be addressed:

Origins of the Book of Common Prayer
The roles Henry VII and Elizabeth I played in forming the Church of England
How Anglicans view the sacraments
How Anglicans read the Bible
Christian theology from an Anglican perspective

Everyone is welcome, especially those interested in formal reception into the Episcopal Church

We are invited to join our friends in Loaves and Fishes and others on Thursdays May 9, 16 & 23 to have dinner with Loaves and Fishes starting at 5:30 PM, then join the community in the powerful experience of watching together the video “Race: The Power of An Illusion” at 6:30 PM, followed by a facilitated dialogue. Childcare will be provided.

on June 14, 2013, 6 – 8 PM at First Congregational Church, to raise funds for food ingredients to pack 300,00 meals for the Ithaca Mobile Pack September 6 – 8. You can participate in 3 ways:

Donate special household treasures for the Silent Auction
Share one or more of your favorite dishes (8 servings each) for the International Food Tasting
Bid at the Silent Auction and sample great International Foods on June 14!
