Ministry |
Possess a strong ability to translate Jesus' commandment to love one another into actions within our daily lives. |

Be respectful and willing to partner with congregation leadership in building ministries, education and other activities. |

Be comfortable in dealing with persons of all age groups, sexual orientations, ethnicities, cultures, socio/economic circumstances and genders. |
|
Exhibit a willingness to engage other religious congregations in spirit of ecumenism. |
|
Preaching |
Be able and willing to preach the Gospel, including social justice and contemporary issues and tie these to the Gospel. |
|
Liturgy |
Have a willingness and ability to make the liturgy indeed be the "work of the people" and to use the Book of Common Prayer and authorized supplemental materials beyond core liturgical services. |
|
Youth |
Be comfortable and proactive in dealing with young people and students; willing to partner with and support parishioners in building and maintaining ministries and activities that target young people, college students and newcomers to the Episcopal church; radically' welcoming. |

Music |
Have a willingness and ability to appreciate and enthusiastically support the importance of music in our congregation. |
|
Education |
Value and support education in theological, church, religious and other related disciplines for all parishioners. |

Management Style and Ability |
Act as an effective manager while retaining a respectful and Christ-like attitude; and demonstrate an ability to manage relevant staff (including supervision and evaluation). |

Financial |
Be comfortable dealing with, and understanding, budgets, financial statements, balance sheets and profit and loss statements, including endowments and asset management, and possess a leadership style comfortable with delegating responsibility and follow-up. |
