The Food Bank of the Southern Tier (FBST) needs volunteers, riders and sponsors to participate in its charity ride, the “Tour de Keuka” (7/23/16). To volunteer, register to ride or donate, go to:

The FBST obtains food at lower prices and distributes to food pantries in Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, and Tompkins counties. In 2014 Tompkins County food pantries received over 1 million pounds, or $1.7 million worth of food at 16 sites, from the FBST. Member agencies in Tompkins County include Ithaca Kitchen Cupboard and Loaves and Fishes.
The Tour de Keuka’s 200 riders raised $45,000 last year, its first year benefitting the FBST. The goal for this year is to sustain and exceed those numbers by 25%. Please ride, volunteer and donate generously!
